Miscarriage

The most common symptom is vaginal bleeding. The condition is caused due to multiple pregnancies, previous c-section, miscarriages, induced abortion, etc. Apart from these, there are other reasons as well, which are illicit drug use, placental abnormalities, etc. The only risk factor is the premature delivery of the baby. Molar Pregnancy

Under this condition, the mother might experience chromosomally abnormal pregnancy. As a result of this, she might suffer from, GTD, fetal tissue tumor, hydatidiform moles, etc. Vaginal bleeding is the only symptom of this condition. Women above the age of 35 when conceiving, have a higher risk of GTD.

Abdominal Pain during Pregnancy

Abdominal pain is caused due to many reasons and these are a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, pre-term labor, ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome, etc. Besides all these, late pregnancy-related conditions such as uterine rupture, HELLP syndrome, acute fatty liver, and placental abruption can also cause abdominal pain. Gestational Hypertension

This is a common condition which occurs in the second and third trimester of pregnancy. The mother experiences an unusual rise in the blood pressure levels which is above 140/90. The risk factors of Gestational Hypertension are nulliparity and other conditions affecting pregnancy. Gestational Hypertension often leads to c-section for the well being of the mother and the child.

Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

A major complication which can cause severe damage to your pregnancy is gestational diabetes. Gestation is the period of conception and birth. If you test positive for diabetes during this period, then your child might be diabetic at birth as well. Toxoplasmosis

This is a parasitic disease which is caused by the Toxoplasma Gondii protozoan. This condition develops when the mother consumed undercooked meat or raw meat, food contaminated with cat feces, etc. The condition at an acute state is asymptomatic. On the contrary, if left untreated then at severe state, it might cause fetal death, blindness, mental retardation, etc. It is recommended to consult your doctor and stay under observation through regular checkups.
